ABOUT ME

I'm Aubrey Wright, a senior at Pickerington High School North and the President of my school's National Art Honors Society. I've been interested in the arts ever since I was young, but it wasn't until I got to high school that I truly wanted to create my own art. Creativity to me is based around self-expression, which is, to me, a necessity in everyday life. I use my creativity to visually present my ideas and feelings to the world.

I have experience in many mediums, including acrylic paints, watercolor paints, colored pencil, charcoal, pastels, pen & ink, ceramics, photography, graphic design, web design, and typography. I plan on attending the School of Advertising Art to study hybrid design and advertising.

I'm also the editor of the Panther Art Website, so check that out to see the amazing art program that I'm a part of!

"I don't think art is propaganda; it should be something that liberates the soul, provokes the imagination, and encourages people to go further. It celebrates humanity instead of manipulating it."

-Keith Haring
